Ecropolis has supported SCORE across web and email marketing projects for over ten years. The relationship dates back to 2016, when we helped migrate nearly half of all chapter websites to their previous platform — and it has grown into website support services for most chapters, with Ecropolis serving as webmaster for 160+ local chapters and supporting headquarters with training, planning, and hands-on development.
So when SCORE needed to rebuild its national platform, we weren't a vendor learning the organization — we were the technology partner who already knew it.

SCORE has been helping entrepreneurs succeed for more than 60 years through a nationwide network of volunteer business mentors. Its digital platform is the front door for entrepreneurs across the United States — connecting visitors with local mentors, workshops, educational resources, and chapter events.
The organization needed far more than a website redesign. It needed a modern platform capable of supporting a national brand while giving more than 230 local chapters the flexibility to manage their own content — all while maintaining performance, reliability, and a consistent user experience.
Working within the realities of nonprofit budgets and timelines, Ecropolis partnered with SCORE to design, build, and launch an entirely new platform in just six months.

Rather than creating hundreds of independent websites, we engineered a single multi-tenant platform that behaves like hundreds of local websites. Each chapter has its own presence, events, mentors, success stories, and resources while sharing a common design system and centralized administration.
The result is a platform that feels completely local to visitors while remaining simple to manage at a national level.
Connecting the organization
The platform integrates directly with Salesforce, allowing mentor profiles, workshops, chapter information, and events to flow automatically from SCORE's CRM into the public site. Updates made by staff appear online within seconds — no manual publishing, no technical intervention — dramatically reducing administrative overhead while keeping information accurate across every chapter.
Traffic at this level requires more than good code.

Large platforms require operational discipline. To support SCORE's national infrastructure, Ecropolis developed a custom operations platform that provides visibility across every production server, coordinates cache management, monitors system health, and automates infrastructure tasks that traditionally require manual intervention. The result: faster deployments, proactive issue detection, and a platform designed for long-term stability.
